I truly had the most wonderful first wedding dress experience at Angelic Inspirations. Kelly listened intently, didn’t pressure me to try on dresses I knew I wouldn’t like, genuinely respected my wish to ‘sleep on it’ and made the whole experience so personal. As a curvier girl, there was never a discussion on sizing. I picked any dresses I liked on the rack and Kelly discreetly made all the dresses work without any issues, whether they be too big or too small. I visited another Canberra bridal store directly after and could instantly feel the difference between both stores. A very impromptu trip to Canberra to dress shop and I couldn’t fault the service, professionalism and knowledge we experienced with Tanya. I had some ideas on style but she had great suggestions! I cannot rate this shop high enough. A little over 15 years ago I bought my wedding dress from here only a few months after having my daughter. We’ve come full circle and now we are back purchasing a formal dress for that very daughter. Every interaction that we have had with them through the process of looking for a formal dress has been brilliant. Not only are the staff incredibly knowledgeable, but they are warm and kind and go above and beyond. In the last week alone I have dealt with 3 different staff members, both over the phone and in person. Tania, Amy & Julie (gosh I hope I got these names correct ladies). Each one was as brilliant as the other. Absolutely nothing was too hard for them, they were all so wonderfully kind, happy and helpful. And I honestly remember feeling the same way all those years ago as an early 20 something with a post partum belly feeling hideous in everything and anything I tried on. But rather than tell me I looked sensational in everything they were honest but kind in their assistance and I appreciated that so much more than them just telling me everything looked great. If it didn’t quite look great, it was as simple as saying something along the lines of “I don’t think this is your style, let me find something that I think will suit you better”. I will never forget that kindness. And I have no idea if it is even under the same ownership now, to 15+ years ago, but one things for sure, it’s rare these days to get such brilliant and consistent customer service.
