What is the price of your gowns?
Our wedding dresses range between $1500 and $3500. Our bridesmaid gowns range between $220 – $499.
What size gowns do you stock on the floor?
Our sample, try on gown sizes range in size from a standard size 6 to a size 26. All of our gowns can be ordered into size from a 0-30. We also have over 50 plus size (18-28) wedding dresses in-store to try on.
Can I purchase gowns off the rack?
Absolutely!. If you love a dress that we have in stock and it fits well, we are more
than happy to sell it to you off the rack at a slightly reduced price. (not in conjunction with any other offer or promotion) We will even have it freshly cleaned for you prior to collection. This is a great option if you are getting married in a short period of time. We also have a dedicated sale and clearance section with samples reduced up to 50% off the regular retail price.
What is the delivery time frame for ordering a wedding dress?
Our wedding dresses take approximately 5-6 months when ordered. Delivery time frames depend on the designer and can vary but if you allow yourself 6 months that will ensure your dress arrives in plenty of time!
Can a dress be made faster than 6 months?
Yes, certain designers offer a rush service depending on the required function date. The rush service does incur an additional fee.
How do you determine the right size for me?
Each of our gown designers provides us with individual sizing charts. Whenever we are ordering a dress in for you, we will take your measurements and order in the closest possible size according to these charts.
How long do bridesmaid dresses take to make?
Our bridesmaids gowns take between 3-4 months to be made and delivered.
Will I need alterations?
Yes. All our gowns are standard sizing, not made to measure. Alterations are required to tailor the gown to each individual’s specifics and to ensure the perfect fit. All our wedding gowns come to a standard length and hemming is conducted once the gown arrives and shoes are chosen.
Do you offer an alterations service? Are alterations an additional cost? And how much?
Yes, we have a dedicated seamstress who works from her home studio. Alterations are an added cost. The price will vary depending on the amount of alterations needing to be completed but we do this on a “user pays” system and charge an hourly rate of $35.00 per hour. Basically you will pay only for the time required to complete the work.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring a hair-tie, wear nude coloured underwear, and ensure that you have not freshly spray tanned as this will stain our gowns.
Who should I bring to my appointment?
We recommend to only bring between 2-4 of your closest relatives/friends. Bring the family and friends with you that are important to your dress buying decision, however, it is really important that the people you bring are supportive and will give an honest opinion!
If I find my dress, how much deposit do I need to leave and can I pay my dress off?
Once you say ‘Yes to your dress’ we will require a $500.00 deposit to secure the order. We will then set you up with a layby which means you can chip away at it up until the month prior to your wedding. Alterations, however, will not commence until the gown has been paid off in full. To order bridesmaids gowns we require a $150.00 deposit per dress. These can also be layby’d.
